College can be a transformative experience. It certainly was for Hillary Diane Rodham at Wellesley College in Massachusetts during the 1960s. And not just because the future secretary of state once swam illegally in the campus lake or vigorously protested the college’s curfew on male visitors. When she arrived at college, the Democratic presidential front-runner was bright-eyed and ambitious, not to mention a Young Republican and a Goldwater girl. What happened?
