Burkina Faso

The landlocked West African country is dotted with imposing limestone rock formations. Agriculture remains the principal pillar of the country's economy, and cotton is a major export. Although recently hit by terrorist violence, Burkina Faso is also a rare nation to have peacefully deposed a dictator, in 2014, and is building a democracy.
