Embattled President Nicolás Maduro described Guaidó’s “Operation Freedom” — an ultimately failed gamble to spark a broader uprising — as a coup attempt, while Venezuela’s intelligence chief appeared to break ranks from the president. Guaidó has called for a massive march today.
