    Hurricane Florence Will Be ’Catastrophic’

The National Hurricane Center’s warning comes as the storm strengthened to Category 4, reaching maximum-sustained winds of 130 miles per hour. Expected to move over Bermuda and the Bahamas Tuesday and Wednesday and the southeast coast on Thursday, officials in Virginia and the Carolinas have already declared a state of emergency.
