Two Killed in Mass Shooting at Florida Video Game Tournament
Jacksonville police have named 24-year-old David Katz as the gunman who opened fire at a waterfront mall during a “Madden NFL 19” tournament Sunday, killing two and injuring 11 before turning the gun on himself. The Baltimore native reportedly used at least one handgun in the attack, which was partially captured on live-streaming service Twitch. Witnesses reported Katz “walking back just popping rounds” as bystanders trampled others in a bid to escape. “No one deserves to die over playing a video game,” said one competitor.
