How Do We Grow Our Economies?

Seems like a simple question, but economists have struggled to find a definitive answer. Physicist César Hidalgo looks at it another way in his new book Why Information Grows: The Evolution of Order, From Atoms to Economies. This is a great attempt at building a theory of growth that incorporates everything in nature.
