    Greece Walks Out of Eleventh-Hour Talks

    Athens and Brussels are further apart than we realized. Yesterday, the Greek negotiating team walked out of last-ditch talks in the Belgian capital after being told their attempts to placate eurozone creditors had failed. Finance ministers will meet again on Thursday in what’s widely seen as a final bid — but it’s looking less and less likely that Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and his anti-austerity government will be able to bridge the gap and secure funding before its $1.7 billion IMF bill comes due on June 30.
