    Dad: Dallas Police Attack Suspect ‘Snapped’

    James Boulware was at the end of his rope, his dad says. Having lost custody of his son a few months ago, the 35-year-old with a history of mental illness and violence-related charges simply “broke.” He attacked the Dallas police headquarters on Saturday, placing explosives outside and firing shots at authorities before being shot dead by a sniper. Several officers are on administrative leave pending a routine investigation, and authorities are cleaning up the crime scene in order to reopen the station to the public.
