Millions have been stuck at home for six months, working from makeshift bedroom offices. A few months ago, 77 percent said they wanted to stay at least partially remote even after it becomes safe to return to the workplace. But that isn’t true for all age groups. Surprisingly, 42 percent of Gen Zers would rather go back to the workplace than remain at home, far more than any other generation.
