OZY Fest is a unique festival that brings together an interesting and diverse mix of people for an experience that doesn’t just leave you mind blown, but also mind grown. Curious? Indulge yourself at OZY Fest, and engage with the biggest names and boldest thinkers across entertainment, art, politics, business, food and thought leadership.
OZY Media is a media and entertainment company that produces daily digital news, original TV shows, addictive podcasts … and of course events. In everything that we do, we aim to inspire folks to see a broader and a bolder world. The name isn’t an acronym, but it is short for Ozymandias, a poem by Percy Bysshe Shelley.
No, we didn’t. And yes, she did.
Summertime is the best time for festivals where you can hang outside and have food and drink galore. Given the realities of climate change, any summer month in New York City is susceptible to extreme weather. To play our part in reducing impact of the festival, OZY Fest will be donating to a carbon offsetting charity to the value of the expected emissions arising from the festival, as well as ensuring the most sustainable materials and choices are made at every step of event production — and we encourage all festival attendees to join us in making more sustainable choices. In addition, we will be hosting a panel about sustainability at the event featuring leading scientists and policymakers.
We wanted to bring together the most amazing folks for an incredible experience on the Great Lawn of Central Park and were able to secure the location for one day only.
Yes — there will be a dedicated ADA accessible entrance, and accessible viewing areas are provided in front of both stages. Accessible bathrooms are available throughout the site. You can check out Central Park’s policy here.
Children under 10 are allowed to enter the festival for free with a ticket-holding adult. Minors age 11 to 17 must have a ticket, and must be accompanied by someone over the age of 21. In both cases, there is a maximum of two minors per accompanying adult.
No dogs or other pets are allowed. Certified service dogs will be allowed.
Doors open at 11am and the first programming begins at noon. We highly recommend arriving as close to 11am as possible to give you time to check in and check out the space before the programming starts.
The programming will end at around 10pm
There sure will be. We’ll message all ticket holders before the event with instructions about how to download the app.
OZY Fest organizers are working closely with City of New York public health officials and are monitoring the situation closely, however at this time there is no cause for concern at OZY Fest 2020. The health and safety of festival attendees is our top priority, and we are following all CDC guidelines accordingly.
Unless in exceptional circumstances, all sales are final — no refunds and/or exchanges are allowed after a ticket is purchased. Artist cancellation is not grounds for refund. All of our tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable. This policy is to ensure reliability and legitimacy of each ticket sold.
Your ticket is for OZY Fest, not for a specific artist. Artists and schedules are subject to change without notice.
Travel to the Great Lawn is easy via bus or subway from Penn Station or Grand Central Station. If you’re flying into NYC, check out the transport options into Manhattan on the websites of John F. Kennedy International Airport, LaGuardia Airport or Newark International Airport.
Attendees requiring insulin are allowed to bring medically necessary materials and medications, provided all medicine has a prescription label with their name on it. Out of concern for the festival staff and volunteers who handle the trash, please do not dispose of these items in regular trash bins at the festival.
No outside food or beverages (including alcohol) are allowed into the festival.
A global marketplace of food vendors will supply an eclectic array of food and drink options, including vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options. Our official food and drink lineup will be announced soon with full details.
All restrooms are gender neutral.
Absolutely; the health and safety of all attendees is our number one priority.
There will be ample water refilling stations available. Please bring your own reusable water bottle. Please note that all reusable water bottles must be empty and cannot be made of glass or metal.
No re-entry is allowed. All ticket holders will be allowed to enter and exit OZY Fest once.
