In a curious case of harmonic convergence, not only does Farrah share a name with that enduring ’70s hair icon but also, after arriving in the U.S. from Shiraz, Iran, as a child, she learned English from reruns of that monumental ’70s TV treat, Three’s Company.
While we’re not exactly sure what that convergence might mean, we do know that with more a decade of experience in the digital advertising space — the client side at Mattel, the agency side at OMD and the publishing side at BuzzFeed and MyPoints — Farrah is more than ready for OZY.
Especially since during that time she has not only mastered the art of bagel Fridays, cupcake Mondays and Moleskine notebooks with logos but also, and maybe more importantly, learned to focus on great partnerships that add value for … well, just about everyone, including the consumer.
So with coastal-trotting time in Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York City, a degree in environmental studies with a focus on city policy and planning from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and a handy command of Farsi and conversational French, Farrah is ours. And we’re more than glad to keep her … isn’t that right, Mr. Furley?
