WHY YOU SHOULD CARE
Because heavy is the head, and the hair on it, that wears the crown.
By Eugene S. Robinson
It’s an old and very possibly true aphorism that you can’t judge a person until you’ve walked a mile in his shoes. In the spirit of newness and nextness, we’ve got an upgrade: You can’t judge a person until you’ve walked a mile in his hair.
Because if you can’t judge a person by his hair then what can you judge him by? There is no truer judge of human character than the hair that sits up on top of that character. So: In the spirit of the frothy election season that’s already started, we are paying attention to not only policy issues, but also tonsorial issues. Front-runners, dark horses and long shots, shoe-ins, all and sundry — all have their future writ large, from their head to their feet. But mostly their head.
Believe it!
