Why you should care

Because we think that you shall never see a poem lovely as a tree. And stuff.

You know what we love? POETRY.

You know how much we love it? A LOT.

And so it’s a damned good thing that during National Poetry Month, great poets are packing them in for an extra-special cavalcade of events connected to the well-turned phrase. Great, great poets. Like … well, like Liam Neeson and Meryl Streep! You didn’t know they were poets? Well, neither did we, but they’re hosting gala events.

Which is to say an event at a place largely unknown to anyone actually writing poetry, but hey, why quibble? It’ll be a blast. Can’t wait to hear what renowned poet Justin Timberlake has to say about his sexy and the possibility of getting it back again. And stuff.

But before we get into all of that? Some real poetry love!
