We’re swimming in devices. Tablets, smartphones and e-readers bring innumerable ways to stay connected. But for some, getting status updates the old-fashioned way, especially from their kids, is becoming harder as digital distraction sets in. “Taking away a kid’s digital device can be like taking their oxygen out of the room,” says OZY essayist Anthony Hamilton. In this latest edition of our “In the Barbershop” series, Hamilton dials in with his patrons’ digital dilemmas.
