Because “naked” works in the bedroom, but maybe not so much in the boardroom.

If you’re a clothing manufacturer and moving into the fall fashion season, which is heavily upon us already, how do you convince people to continue to chase that Holy Sales Grail of MORE? Especially if they already have, um, a lot?

Well, you won’t do it by trying to sell someone who has a shirt a shirt.

But call that shirt a part of the Victorian Velvet Revolution? Cue: a pool and a Rolls, baby. With the only remaining questions being the really basic: Will we fall for it again this fall? And do we have any good reasons for doing so, other than being not naked at work? And finally: Ohmigod, does it come in purple?

It just might, you silly rabbits.
