We are looking for an exceptional Sales Director to join our growing sales team to lead and build our accounts on the West Coast. At OZY, you will work collaboratively with brand marketers and advertising agencies to identify potential partnerships, think creatively to establish cohesive first-to-market programs and ultimately close business deals. WHAT YOU’LL LOVE DOING:

  • To build a comprehensive business strategy to generate revenue, hit targets, grow a business territory with an emphasis on new business
  • To work all aspects of the sales cycle — Prospecting, Research, Outreach, Creative Ideation, Pitching, Negotiating, Closing, Account Management and Renewals
  • Meetings, Meetings, Meetings … evangelize the OZY brand and educate our future partners on our audience and offerings
  • Collaborate with internal groups from planning, creative, editorial and operations to generate outstanding proposals and flawless account management
  • Networking to build new client relationships and opportunities, with a particular focus on the entertainment, retail and auto industries

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • 7+ years of digital and cross-platform sales experience
  • Key agency and brand direct relationships at all levels
  • Track record of reaching and exceeding sales revenue targets, including experience with closing seven-figure deals and overseeing client programs with branded content
  • Ability to leverage OZY’s multi-platform approach (Digital, TV, Events) to deliver deeply integrated, memorable experiences for brands with significant monetary commitments
  • Exceptional writing style, organizational skills and presentation ability
  • Excitement and hunger to thrive in a startup environment

ACCOUNT MANAGER

OZY is looking for a dynamic and organized Account Manager to join our growing team. This individual is an integral member of the campaign execution team, responsible for directly managing and overseeing the entire execution process for sold deals, working closely with the sales, creative, strategy and publishing teams to ensure that our deliverables are high quality and on time.

WHAT YOU’LL LOVE DOING:

  • Spearhead all client/internal communication ensuring all tactical expectations are met based on client’s scope while maintaining a positive relationship with client touchpoints.
  • Maintaining campaign documents, workflows and timelines to ensure they are completed on time, on budget, and to elevate any issues to Sr. Management.
  • Work between Sales, Creative, Strategy and additional teams to ensure client relationships and deliverables are on track and moving.
  • Detailed project management and content management across multiple platforms based on the needs of the account, can include: Web, Digital Media, Social, Podcast, TV, & Live Events.
  • Analyzing campaign performance data and strategic recommendations for optimizations and renewals.
  • Understand and be able to speak to the services OZY offers, knows when to loop in supervisor for add-on opportunities.
  • Keep a pulse on the industry and know who our competitors are.
  • Support analysts in pulling and compiling reporting.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • 3-4 years of experience executing marketing/advertising campaigns in an account manager/project manager role is required. 
  • Social media-savvy and prior account management experience at an advertising agency is preferred.
  • Experience working on large scale event and festival activations is a plus.
  • Ability to effectively develop and foster client relationships.
  • Exhibit excellence and attention to detail with all day-to-day work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, balancing thorough “big-picture” understanding of current and emerging needs.
  • Demonstrate flexibility, redefining and communicating project scope of work, assigned tasks, and deliverables for the team based on changing client need/deadlines.

BRANDED CONTENT STRATEGIST

OZY is looking for a dynamic, organized and forward-thinking Branded Content Strategist to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for helping oversee all branded content executions at OZY, from both initial ideas and story pitches all the way through to creative execution and content promotion. The ideal candidate will have a passion for content creation combined with a talent for strategic thinking. You will need to be familiar with digital media, web, social and creative/production to lead the charge to put together thoughtful pitches for branded content. 

WHAT YOU’LL LOVE DOING:

  • Participate in new business pitches by leading the creative brainstorming with regards to research and development of activation plans.
  • Work closely with OZY’s editorial team and act as a liaison between the editorial and sales teams to ensure cohesive content strategy.
  • Collaborate across a team-based environment spanning all key agency departments and functions – brand strategy, creative, ad ops, project management, account and production.
  • Work across teams to ensure accuracy of message, alignment across media channels and quality of content across a variety of key clients.
  • Develop audience insights that can be applied to campaigns and aid in regular reporting on KPIs delivered by content campaigns.
  • Work closely with the team to ensure marketing insights and recommendations align with the overall strategic plan for campaigns across clients and projects.
  • Perform other tasks as required or assigned that are reasonably within the scope of duties enumerated above. 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • 3-5+ years in strategic and content development. 
  • Strong writing and editing skills, as well as experience with freelancers.
  • Previous experience in a digital-oriented agency or publisher environment and developing integrated marketing campaigns preferred
.
  • Proven ability to work across teams and able to create strong, positive, collaborative working relationships.
  • Creative problem-solver with the ability to work with speed and efficiency who is readily adaptable to changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong command of language and writing.
  • Ability to interpret various forms of research and utilize digital analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics.
  • Strong understanding of the digital ecosystem, social and digital platforms, usage behaviors and ad formats.
  • Familiarity with Google product suite (Drive, Sheets, Slides), Microsoft Office product suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Apple product suite (Keynote).
