Why you should care
Because you can see the data for yourself.
We spend a lot of time at OZY reporting on the transformational shifts coming to education and work, but we figured it was high time to take America’s pulse on the subject. So in conjunction with our friends at SurveyMonkey, here is the first OZY Poll on the Future of Work.
The online poll was conducted from Aug. 7–9 of 3,350 adults across the country — including 631 millennials (ages 18 to 34) — randomly selected from those who take polls on SurveyMonkey’s platform. The responses are weighted for age, race, sex, education and geography using census data to reflect the demographic composition of the United States. The modeled error estimate for this survey is plus or minus 3.0 percentage points. For more on SurveyMonkey’s methodology, click here.
The full crosstabs — with breakdowns by age, gender, education level, partisan identification and region of the country — can be found here. We also welcome suggestions for future intriguing topics to poll at firstname.lastname@example.org.
