  1. What is OZY Fest?

    OZY Fest is a unique festival that brings together an interesting and diverse mix of people for an experience that doesn’t just leave you mind blown, but also mind grown. Curious? Indulge yourself at OZY Fest, and engage with the biggest names and boldest thinkers across entertainment, art, politics, business, food and thought leadership.

  2. What are the hours of this year's program?

    The virtual event will run from 5pm to 9pm ET on both Saturday, May 15 and Sunday, May 16.

  3. What does "Reset America" mean?

    The theme of this year’s event is “Reset America,” based off a viral OZY campaign that aims to spark conversation to reimagine what democracy, capitalism, racial justice, education, healthcare, relationships, identity, technology and more should look like in the 21st century. We wanted to start a thought experiment about America 2.0 — and whether we should even have a new Constitutional Convention to reexamine the big, complicated issues facing our society as a national family, rather than the echo chambers we often find ourselves in.   4. How are you working with UNCF?

    We are proud to be partnering with the United Negro College Fund (UNCF) as the official beneficiary of OZY Fest 2021. $10 from every VIP ticket sold between April 1, 2021 and May 16, 2021 will be donated to UNCF to support Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).   5. Can anyone access the event?

    Yes, anyone can stream OZY Fest 2021 on YouTube. Be sure to subscribe to both the OZY Media and Carlos Watson Show YouTube channels to stay up to date with streaming announcements. However, only VIP and HBCU pass holders will have access to our interactive VIP platform, featuring exclusive content.

  6. When will the next in-person OZY Fest be?

    OZY Fest in may will be a virtual event, to ensure that everybody can stay safe and healthy. But stay tuned, we have some exciting announcements coming your way later this year …

  7. What does “OZY” stand for?

    OZY Media is a multi-platform media and entertainment company that produces daily digital news, original TV shows, addictive podcasts … and of course events. In everything that we do, we aim to inspire folks to see a broader and a bolder world. The name isn’t an acronym, but it is short for Ozymandias, a poem by Percy Bysshe Shelley.

  8. Can I watch from my phone?

    You sure can! Whether you’re streaming on YouTube or accessing our interactive VIP platform, you can participate in OZY Fest from your mobile device as well as tablets, laptops and desktops.

Passes

  1. What is the difference between the Streaming Pass and the VIP Pass?

    Portions of the event will be streamed live publicly, but only VIP and HBCU Pass holders will have full access to explore programming in advance, submit questions and catch up on the show after the livestream ends.

  2. What features does the VIP Platform have?

    VIP and HBCU Pass holders will receive an invite several days before OZY Fest with a link to login to an exclusive virtual event platform. There, you will be able to submit video questions for the guests in advance, interact live during the event via chat and live trivia, fill out a personality profile to be matched with like-minded ticket holders in a matchmaking room, and access exclusive content via the on-demand OZY Theater. Plus, all VIP Pass holders will receive an invite to the Clubhouse app for exclusive audio-only talent meet-and-greets (iOS only).

  3. How do I access the VIP Platform?

    If you purchased a VIP Pass or registered for an HBCU Pass, you should receive an email on Wednesday, May 12th from OZY Fest 2021, with the subject line “The OZY Fest VIP Virtual Venue Is Now Open!” If you didn’t receive this email, try searching your inbox or spam folders for “no-reply@pathable.com”. This email contains a button with your unique access link to the virtual venue and all of its interactive features. If you are unable to find this email in your inbox, please email ozyfest@e2k.helpscoutapp.com.

  4. Can I refund or change my ticket after it has been purchased? Can I resell my ticket or give my pass to a friend?

    Unless in exceptional circumstances, all sales are final — no refunds and/or exchanges are allowed after a ticket is purchased. Artist cancellation is not grounds for refund. All of our tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable. This policy is to ensure reliability and legitimacy of each ticket sold.

  5. Can I register for multiple passes for me and my friends?

    Every pass — whether a Streaming Pass, VIP Pass or HBCU Pass — needs to be connected to a unique email address. So by all means encourage your friends to join you at OZY Fest — but please make sure they each register for their own pass with their own email address.

  6. Might the lineup change before the event day?

    Your ticket is for OZY Fest, not for a specific artist. Artists and schedules are subject to change without notice.

  7. I saw that pass holders all get a free gift card. Is that for real?

    You bet it is! We are partnering with Nift to reward you for your participation with wine, gourmet food delivery, in-home fitness classes, hand-tailored shoes, custom vitamin supplements, jewelry, cosmetics, protein powder, sneakers, steak, beer and more. When people use a Nift gift card, they’re matched with businesses where they can use those funds. Gift cards typically expire within 30 days.
