About OZY

Cofounded by former CNN/MSNBC anchor Carlos Watson, OZY is a three-year-old media company that tells stories found nowhere else — on TV, in person and on OZY.com. We have a monthly global readership of more than 20 million people and offices in New York and Silicon Valley’s Mountain View. We cover all manner of otherwise untold stories on global politics, business, culture and quirks.

In addition to the daily offering of original text, video and audio features on OZY.com, OZY has a major festival each summer in New York City’s Central Park (OZY Fest) with past headliners including Mark Cuban, Jeb Bush, Jason Derulo, Samantha Bee and Eddie Huang. Our newest podcast, The Thread, hit the top 10 on Apple Podcasts within the first week, and our second hit prime-time TV show, Third Rail With OZY, reached millions of viewers on PBS this fall.

We are a growing, dynamic band of former Economist, Wall Street Journal, Vice and CNN writers and analysts — and intrepid and passionate career-switchers — reimagining intelligent journalism.

College students (juniors and graduating seniors), postcollegiate types and those with professional experience, please apply.
