As you may have witnessed by now, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz knows his way around a debate stage. And it’s no accident that the presidential candidate has so often dominated his GOP rivals from the podium — Cruz honed his mad rhetorical skills in the ruthlessly competitive college debate world, a world overflowing with geeky but slick Ivy League wunderkinds with the gift of gab. By his senior year at Princeton, Cruz was one of the best.
